Fotodelux is Katrin Solansky and Alexander Burzik – a strong team with the goal of producing exciting and authentic images. We met while studying Visual Communication at the Bauhaus University Weimar.
Since then, we have been working as a freelance photographer and graphic designer on joint photo projects.

For our photo shoots in Weimar, Jena, Erfurt and Berlin we're regularly looking for models. No modeling experience required – we're looking for photogenic people with a positive, natural presence.

Before you apply.
We understand that a photo shoot with people you don't know can feel like a hurdle at first. Here are the questions we get asked most often.
What are „image rights" and a model release?
A model release is a written agreement that we sign together after the shoot. It transparently states which images may be used, how, and for what purpose. So you'll know exactly what you're agreeing to beforehand.
Who actually buys your photos?
We publish our images through the stock agencies Getty Images and iStockphoto. Buyers are typically advertising agencies, magazines, newspapers, companies, associations and organizations. So it's quite possible that your photos will later appear in a campaign, on a poster or in a magazine.
What happens after I apply?
We'll get back to you within a few days. If it's a good fit, we'll discuss the topic, location and fee by phone or email. The shoot itself takes one to four hours depending on the concept – relaxed, no pressure, with time to settle in.
Do I need modeling experience?
No. We're looking for people with a natural, positive presence – not perfect poses. If you can move in front of the camera in a relaxed way, that's all you need.
Can I suggest my own themes?
Absolutely. If you have an idea you'd like to see captured photographically, drop us a line – we love hearing suggestions.
